Week 10 begins...

Last week finished up with the remaining drywall and ceiling installation.  All the big panels were installed, and now Week 10 opens with sealing those drywall panels. Monday was Coat #1, Tuesday will be Coat #2.  Like other days, it's not the most visually rewarding, but it is exciting, and there are BIG things coming.  I think our cabinetry is coming soon, there's talk of paint and crown moulding (sp?), and hopefully we'll have pretty floors one day, too.

The kids are in the laundry room, in their morning best!, peering into the construction area as the workcrew gets started.  The kids know not to enter the construction zone without shoes on, so they worked hard at leaning as far as they could to get a good view.

The fireplace, and the space to the right of the fireplace.  It's not just drywall anymore - it's sealed drywall!

More sealed drywall, this time in the master bath where the vanity will go.

  1. Sealed drywall may not be quite as big a step forward as some of the others that have come before, but it is a step closer to being finished. Looks great!
Cute picture of the kids peering into the construction area.
    Love,
    Dad
