Vacation recap

Nothing to do with the construction project, but thought readers (aka Popop) might want to see a few vacation pictures.  It is easiest to post/share them here!

First things first - DISNEY!

On the way in to Disney, first thing in the morning, we realized we could pull over and check out the Disney racetrack. Daddy and Jay were very interested!

Our first stop once inside was the racecar ride! Yes, Jay got to drive, but the passenger had to press the gas.  Jay rode this three times that day!

Daddy and Jay in the (purple) teacup ride at Disney. Jay rode this 4 times!
After our first time on the Buzz ride, guess who was waiting outside to shake hands?!

Some carousel calm.

Playing with hats during our afternoon ice cream break.

Mommy and Jay and Cinderella's castle!
Daddy and Jay and Cinderella's castle!
Look what we brought home for Charlotte!

When not at Disney (just for a day) or swimming (all the time), we were at a playground!

One of the days we managed to get her into pigtails to help tame that hair!

Charlotte loved playing on the steps of the pool(s) - she would dunk herself, and jump back up.  She's ready to swim!

She also had a bucket of kitchen items that became pool toys. So much fun for her!
Our swimming superstars sidetracked by a poolside ping-pong game.
Here comes our newest swimmer!

Snack time on the floor.

There are lots of duck ponds where we stayed, and the ducks would walk right up to you as soon you showed up, begging for food. The kids figured out that they could feed them, then chase them back into the pond! Charlotte really enjoyed yelling "No duckies! Back in water!"
