Week 7, Day 2

The bricking continues at warp speed, columns are coming to make our carport look respectably supported, and we might actually have AC for this addition (heat is irrelevant in this part of the country). :)

The bricks multiply!  The back of the house is all bricked up.

Moving around to the side, here come the bricks!

Columns!  There will be more, if I remember correctly. And, they'll be white.

I'm not sure how easy it is to tell what's going on here, but this is from inside our kitchen, looking at where the carport door used to be.  A prior post showed the other side of this doorway covered in a piece of plywood - here's the inside!  And, the fun part is that shadow between the wall and the playwood - the wall has been cut out from the outside to prepare for the incoming pocket door.  Such progress!
