On to Week 5! Day 1.
Even with some intermittent heavy rain Monday, there was lots of progress! Most notably, the roof is underway! There was a roof on the old storage room, but with the bath/closet addition next to it, the roof needed a completely different pitch. So, off with the old, on with the new - all in one day!

| If you noticed some extra beams and posts in that first picture, here's a closer view. The structure of our carport is going up! There will be a full ceiling/roof to the carport, with posts along the far side to support it. |

Wow, those workmen did well on a rainy day - roof work and getting the carport started. Impressive! I'm glad Jay and Charlotte did not let this amount of progress go to their heads and were able to keep their feet firmly planted in the sand.
