It was Memorial Day weekend, and mostly we goofed off, which was perfect! And, we're ready for some big things to happen quickly with the construction now that the roof is done. Onward and upward!

Cute pictures of the kids having fun with each other! Back to the construction, what about a chimney for the fireplace? I just happened to think about that and the fact that they finished with the roof. I guess the chimney comes later.

No chimney! We are getting a gas fireplace which is a self-contained box insert. So, the family room will have the full look of a fireplace, with a mantel and a real gas fire, but no need to vent fumes anywhere.
